Re-scheduled from September's Heritage Open Days, Associated British Ports and North East Lincolnshire Council host this Third Annual Open Day on Grimsby's Dock in the Kasbah Conservation Area off Auckland Road.
Between 10am and 4pm the day will be a celebration of the amazing innovations which have propelled Grimsby into the future. Alongside walking tours of teh area (bookable only) will be fish filleting and net braiding demonstrations, artwork exhibitions, stand up paddelboarding demonstrations and insight into Orsted's offshore windfarm presence. You are also invited to vist Peterson's Project Exhibition on Wharbcliffe Road to find our more about the conservation work underway and record your own memories of the Docks.

Local musicians performing live sea-themed gigs throughout the day are 2 who, whilst performing gigs throughout the UK and Europe, have unfortunately not performed here, their home town, for quite a while:
Shanty Jack (Pete Hayselder) –having spent a large part of his working life on Humber Tugs, Grimsby’s own shantyman is now a regular fixture at Shanty Festivals both in the UK and abroad.
