June 1943, our area was targetted by the enemy with anti-personal weaponry - the first use cluster bombs - and their devastating impact was under press embargo, the consequence of which was the 'forgotten' . This June, GCDCS are involved with others in a project to address with an exhibition in Grimsby town centre and a memorial service in Grimsby Minster:
