We invite all budding photographers to look around our area for images which give a positive reflection of this area where we live.
We like the layout of our current photos logo but need to update it for today's digital uses. We are in negotiations with the authorities to acquire a new image of Grimsby's Dock Tower (this year is its 170th birthday!) but want YOU to send in images from elswhere around our urban areas. All we ask is that all photographs must be of a resolution of at least 300dpi and:
- there are no identifiable people in any photograph
- in submitting your photo, you acknowledge that you are the copyright holder and that you are donating the copyright to the Civic Society in order to promote its work
- you do not submit photographs of any prohibited area (ie any Port, railtrack and private property)
- Competion ends midnight 31st March 2022
Approximately 6 images will be chosen by a panel of GCDCS members.
