Thursday 15th February at Grimby’s Town Hall a Talk: People’s Park at 7.15pm
This Talk by Ann Turner is in celebration of its 140th year. Ann has for many years, been a friend of People’s Park and was one of a team who gained £2.95m Heritage Lottery funding to ensure its survival in the early 2000s. It is easy to forget the ugly ‘café’ and toilet block which once stood near the Lake and replaced by the current wood-clad building with the new toilets and café – which itself went on to another splendid transformation a year ago.
