GCDCS’s Talk in September is by our own Paul Fenwick: ‘Grimsby’s Butterfly Bomb WW2 air raid’ . The Butterfly Bomb air raid in 1943 was kept quite for many years on orders of the Home Office of the time. As a consequence, not much is known about such a raid and many were prevented from talking about it - even though 114 peoeple were killed in our region with half of those in Grimsby alone. With stories and props, this evening promises to be an interesting one.
At Grimsby Town Hall from 7.15pm, Thursday September 21st .
All our monthly Talks are free to members and £3 for non-members.
