We are very pleased to announce that we have 2 public Talks arranged for this Autumn at Grimsby Town Hall. There are no restrictions on how many people can gather – the wearing of masks is up to you, the visitors, and how you feel comfortable although most staff will be wearing masks.

Each event will start at 7pm with a short meeting about GCDCS activities – the Executive has been extremely busy in the background forging links with different groups including NELC departments and North East Lincs Heritage Network and are also establishing 3 sub-groups to focus on different areas of interest: Transport, Planning and Environment.

The first Talk on Thursday October 21st is about Grimsby Town Hall, its history and future and a visit to Time Trap museum can be included. Being a 'welcome back event’, numbers of attendees is a complete unknown we would be grateful if you email us at so that we can assess numbers.

The second Talk on Thursday 18th November is by Chocolatier Lyndsay Gardner who is paasionate about Chocolate and will include tasting from her Spire Handmade Chocolates - and will, we are sure, give you some idea towards the Festive Season!
